The Service is intended for persons aged at least 13 years, depending on applicable legislation and your country of residence. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet the age requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you declare that you have the authority to represent it and that you accept these Terms on behalf of that organization.

We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to access VotGOAT on the web and mobile in order to evaluate matchups, follow rankings, and engage with the community.

• Modify, copy, or redistribute app assets without written permission
• Use VotGOAT content for commercial campaigns or public screenings
• Attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with security measures
• Remove branding, copyright notices, or ownership markings

Accurate information keeps player stats, leaderboards, and rewards trustworthy.

• Maintain truthful profile information and keep contact details current
• Safeguard your credentials and notify us immediately about suspicious activity
• Take responsibility for actions performed through your account

The Service allows the creation and management of voting duels, participation in duels through votes (including paid votes), obtaining and using "Goat Tokens" or other internal virtual credits, and viewing leaderboards, statistics and real-time results.

To protect the integrity of campaigns:

• Artificial manipulation of results through bots, multiple accounts or fraudulent transactions is prohibited
• We reserve the right to cancel votes, adjust balances and suspend accounts if we identify suspicious activity
• Specific rules of a duel (duration, winning criteria, prizes, etc.) will be displayed on that duel's page

By "Content" we mean any materials uploaded or generated by users in the Service (texts, images, duel descriptions, duel names, etc.). By uploading Content, you grant us a global, non-exclusive, transferable, free and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify and publicly display that Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. You confirm that you own the necessary rights to the Content or have permission to use it.

It is STRICTLY PROHIBITED to use the Service to publish Content that is:

• Illegal, deceptive, defamatory, threatening or harassing
• That incites hatred, violence or discrimination
• That violates the intellectual property rights of other persons
• That contains sensitive personal data of other persons without their consent
• Pornographic or intended exclusively for adults

Your participation is also governed by the VotGOAT Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, store, and protect duel data, profile details, and communication logs.

We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to Content that violates the law or these Terms, and to suspend or close accounts involved in serious or repeated violations. Users can report Content or behaviors that appear illegal or contrary to the Terms, using the reporting mechanisms available in the Service or by sending an email to the contact address. We will analyze reports within a reasonable time and take appropriate measures, depending on severity.

All graphic elements, trademarks, logos, code, databases and editorial content of the Service belong to the Operator or its partners and are protected by copyright and trademark legislation. You do not have the right to copy, modify, redistribute or create derivative works from the Service, except as permitted by law or by a written agreement with us, or to remove or hide copyright or trademark notices.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the Service will be permanently available or without errors; we are not liable for indirect, special, incidental or consequential losses (e.g., loss of profit, data, reputation) resulting from the use or inability to use the Service; our total liability to you, for any claim related to the Service, is limited to the total amount paid by you to us in the last 12 months, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability in cases where the law prohibits such limitation.

The Service may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties (e.g., payment processors, social media). We do not control and do not assume responsibility for the content or practices of these third parties. Interaction with them is subject to their terms and policies.

We may periodically update these Terms to reflect legislative changes, changes to the Service, or security or operational reasons. We will publish the updated version on the site, with the effective date, and will notify you through reasonable means (e.g., email or in-app notification) if the changes are significant. Continued use of the Service after the new Terms take effect means you accept them.

These Terms are governed by the law of Romania. Any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts of Romania, unless mandatory legislation provides otherwise.
